A saxophone, a PA, and a car boot. Based in Worcestershire, playing anywhere in the UK.
I play solo saxophone, alto and tenor, over high-quality backing tracks, or live alongside a DJ. The format is two 40-minute sets, usually from one set-up spot so the sound stays consistent. I'll move around for part of the set if the room and PA allow it.
The work splits in two. Daytime it's standards and easy jazz at a volume people can talk over: drinks receptions, Sunday brunches, restaurant afternoons. Evening it's house, garage, disco and pop aimed straight at the dancefloor.
I run a fortnightly residency at The Vernon Arms in Hanbury, play Sunday jazz brunch at Côte in Worcester, and take weddings and parties across the country.

I bring my own PA, microphones and cabling. All I need from a venue is a power socket and somewhere to stand.
